The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide Catholic lay organization. Its core values are service to people in need, friendship among members, and growth in spirituality. The mission of the St. Vincent De Paul Society is to aid the poor with their needs in emergency situations such as rent, utilities, furniture, clothing and household items. Money received is used to help Sun Prairie residents.
Items to be donated can be dropped off at the St. Vicent de Paul Store at 1110 West Main St. Phone 608-837-4500. Drive-thru drop-off is available. Donated items all go to Madison to be sorted and distributed to the seven stores.
The Society is typically formed into Conferences in a parish setting. Epiphany Parish has two Conferences, one in Sun Prairie and one in Marshall/Waterloo, both are in need of several new members. We invite you to join us in our effort to bring respect and help to our Sun Prairie neighbors in need. Even a few hours of your time are precious to those in need. You are welcome to attend one of our meetings or for more information contact the Epiphany Parish Office at 608-837-7381.
