Care Team

The Care Team ministry at Epiphany of the Lord provides compassionate care and assistance to members of our parish family. Team members are trained to provide respectful, non-medical assistance and are led by Care Team leaders with support from the Pastoral Staff who have been trained through Catholic Charities.

Services include, but are not limited to: 

• rest and relief for family caregivers
• companionship to individuals who are homebound
• assistance with mail
• reading
• local errands

Care Team Member Information: Interested in becoming a trained Care Team Member?

• Compassion and desire to serve others is all that is needed.
• Training is provided by Catholic Charities and held at any one of our parish churches. After completing the training, you are matched with a parishioner that has contacted our parish with a particular need. Some of the assistance offered to parishioners is rest and relief for family caregivers, help with errands/ organizing, and providing companionship. You determine the type of assistance you want to provide and how much time you have available to give.
• Meetings are held once every other month for team support, prayer and fellowship.
