St. Anne's Council

Who We Are

St. Ann’s was established nearly 100 years ago as St. Ann’s Altar Society. We are now the St. Anne's Council of Catholic Women (St. Anne's CCW).

We are an organization of  women from all ages who share and participate in a vision of spiritual growth, service, financial aid and activities, while cultivating a support system together. 
 
OUR ACTIVITIES & INVOLVEMENT

• Two (2) lunch meetings each year, in April and October.  Watch for details in the bulletin.
• Organize and operate the St. Anne’s  Festival Basket Raffle.  Money raised from this project is donated in support of our parish.  
• Provide spiritual opportunities within our Parish:  Living Rosary & May Crowning, pilgrimages, and speakers. 
• Members are welcome and encouraged to attend Mass at the assisted living facilities and nursing home where one of our priests celebrate Mass.  Times and locations are  printed in the weekly bulletin under “Mass Intentions for the Week”.
• Three (3) masses are offered for repose of the soul of a deceased member. The rosary  is recited prior to a members’ funeral Mass, where we stand as Honor Guard.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Dues are $10.00/year and all adult women of the parish are invited to join.  If you wish to become a member, make check payable to:  St. Anne’s CCW. Payment may be placed in the collection basket, dropped off at the Parish Center OR mailed to:  Susan Foelker,  1019 Castle Dr., Sun Prairie, WI 53590.

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO LATELY...

In 2019, St. Anne's hosted the "Spring Market" - a vendor and craft fair in March.  We participated in the all parish Ministry Fair in May to continue to promote St. Anne's and welcome new members.  They also sponsored the weekend with Sr. Alicia Torres in September (which included a dessert judging contest), and a pilgrimmage to Holy Hill in October.  

St. Anne's CCW has continually used operating income to support Our Parish.  Contributed money has been used to support:  Altar restoration, refurbishing the reredos, program support (Evangelical Catholic Program), ongoing support (dry cleaning servers gowns), as well as support to capital campaigns (Priests for Our Future).  These are only a few of the ways St. Anne's CCW supports our Parish.
